The Process:
- Artists submit pieces with artist statements.
- All pieces will be collected and shared with favored writers. Writers get to choose which piece they’d like to respond to.
- Artists must agree to release their art to a narrative interpretation and give us the right to reproduce the work.
- Writers do not see artist statements.
- Art piece, artist statement, and writer’s story get published together, with the art piece being the lead.
